- Who We Are

It is hard to believe, but the 2016-2017 academic school year is right around the corner. We are asking our local partners, churches, donors and community members to help provide children with the things that they need to start the school year off on the right foot. It makes such a difference in a child’s life to have what they need to learn.
A backpack costs $5.00; a school uniform $50.00.

Birdies for Charity is a pledge-based fundraising program based on the number of birdies made by the PGA TOUR professionals during the Travelers Championship. For example, a $0.02 pledge would equal a $36.00 donation if 1,800 birdies are made. You can make a flat-rate donation of at least $10.00, too! The Travelers Championship will donate 100% of the proceeds from your donation to Covenant to Care for Children.
Your donation can help us receive extra funds too! Each organization that raises money through the Birdies for Charity program will receive a 15% bonus on top of the pledges collected.
In our continued effort to mobilize and channel the generosity of caring and faithful people to advocate for, and provide direct assistance to Connecticut’s children who are neglected, abused and/or impoverished at-risk, we hope you will join us as we raise funds through the Birdies for Charity program. For 2016, our goal is to raise $2,500; these funds will help provide tangible goods to abused and/or neglected children in Connecticut. Please help us fulfill our mission by donating through the Birdies for Charity program today.
Thank You for your continued support.
Thank you Aetna Community Relations and Urban Marketing for the gracious opportunity to be the first non-profit organization to showcase their programs in the main hallway of the Rogers building!! We’ve received many compliments, inquires and donations because of the exposure this display offered us. We chose to highlight our Discovered Spirit Project-children serviced by CCC use a series of 3 masks and work with a professional artist to express their Past, Present and Future in moving and whimsical ways.
